Supercritical Fluids on the Menu at Americana

Concrete cases in support

On Thursday, March 23 at 2 p.m., a block of lectures led by the CTTÉI will allow the public to become familiar with supercritical fluids and their possible uses as clean processes. Extraction of bitumen from used asphalt shingles, solvent-free degreasing of parts, extraction of high value-added compounds and the potential of wet oxidation in the treatment of industrial effluents will be among the concrete examples presented to participants. Consult the program here.

High level experts

The OVH team at work (from left to right): Jean-François Vermette and Sophie Girard from CTTÉI, Sébastien Lefevre from Groupe Inovertis.

This session will bring together experts from Quebec and France: Dense Fluid Degreasing, Groupe Inovertis, CEPROCQ and CTTÉI. French companies will also take advantage of their visit to Quebec to visit Quebec companies and explore opportunities for technology transfer or collaboration. Such an initiative, organized with the French competitiveness cluster Trimatec, is made possible thanks to the financial support of the Ministère des relations internationales et de la francophonie and the Consulate General of France in Québec City.

An opportunity not to be missed

We invite you not to miss this opportunity to seek out experienced experts on the application of supercritical fluids to your own waste and problematic effluent treatment needs. We will be pleased to answer your questions. We look forward to meeting you!
