CTTÉI and Cégep de Sorel-Tracy demonstrate the importance of training and innovation
On tour in the Sorel-Tracy region, the head of the 2e Official Opposition and MNA for l'Assomption Mr. François Legault, accompanied by Mr. Simon Jolin-Barrette, MNA for Borduas, visited the CTTÉI facilities. Both showed great interest in the Centre's activities and praised its achievements. Mr. Legault said he was impressed by the close ties that the Centre and the Cégep maintain with SMEs in improving their competitiveness through innovation and training. He was very attentive to the challenges of industrial waste development and discussed with the team solutions that could facilitate the deployment of innovation in Quebec.
Mr. Legault and Mr. Jolin-Barrette then met with SADC and CLD stakeholders to discuss economic development, a major concern within the CAQ. He is seen here in the presence of Julie Gendron, chemist and laboratory manager at the CTTÉI, presenting our various works on concrete.
