Increasingly well known, the circular economy concept offers many benefits for organizations and the community. However, managers and entrepreneurs sometimes wonder where to start, and how to better understand its benefits.

This is why the researchers will present examples from their experience during a relaxed lunchtime conference. How can residues be recycled or even avoided? Real-life innovations will be discussed and will inspire you.

Experts in the field

Claude Maheux-Picard, Jean-François Vermette and Pascal Lemoine have more than 40 years of experience in industrial ecology and with the CTTÉI.

The Centre de transfert technologique en écologie industrielle is associated with the Cégep de Sorel-Tracy. Its innovative environmental technologies aim to improve the performance of organizations in terms of waste treatment and development.

The CTTÉI carries out applied research,technical assistance and awareness-raising work on industrial ecology and the circular economy. Its work focuses on:

  • the reclamation of industrial waste,
  • the development of clean processes,
  • support for industrial symbioses.
