Sorel-Tracy, April 5, 2021 - The CTTÉI is pleased to welcome three new employees in the spring of 2021: a research advisor, a technician and a laboratory technician.
A new research faculty advisor
Firstly, Jean Paul Ndoreraho, a pedagogical research advisor, holds a PhD in education. He specializes in the training of secondary school teachers. In addition, he has over 10 years of experience in Canada.
Jean Paul is attached to the direction of studies at the Cégep de Sorel-Tracy. His mission? To coordinate, increase and promote the applied research activities of the CTTÉI and the Cégep. He assists teachers and students involved in research at the Centre de transfert technologique en écologie industrielle.
Two laboratory technicians
Catherine Thériault, laboratory technician, has a DEC in textile technology from the Cégep de St-Hyacinthe. She has 18 years of experience in research and development, analysis and laboratory testing. Her practice includes experience in the analysis of soils, polymers and super-absorbent materials.
Finally, Said Adi, laboratory technician, graduated in biology from the University of Tizi Ouzou in Algeria (bachelor's degree). He has 14 years of cumulative experience in Algeria and Quebec, as a quality control operator, laboratory technician, operator in the pharmaceutical industry and chemistry teacher.
Catherine and Said join the team at the state-of-the-art laboratory led by Julie Gendron. In addition to strengthening the team during a maternity leave, they contribute to research and development projects. They carry out analyses of materials required for the development of residual materials.
The CTTÉI develops innovative environmental technologies to improve the performance of organizations in the area of waste treatment and reclamation.
This is undoubtedly a mission that will continue to grow thanks to the collaboration of these three new employees.
