An exceptional balance sheet and a renewed Board of Directors for the CTTÉI

Annual General Meeting

The Industrial Ecology Technology Transfer Centre held its annual general meeting on September 18. On this occasion, the Director General, Claude Maheux-Picard, presented the activities for 2017-2018 to the directors and members present. With revenues of $1.6 million, representing a 27% increase over the previous year, the CTTÉI posted its best performance since its creation in 1999 and is a testament to the team's efficiency in both project implementation and business development.

A renewed executive and new faces on the Board of Directors

The year 2018-2019 begins with the arrival of Ms. Anne Laganière, Director of Health, Safety, Environment and Compliance at CRH Canada Group as President, and Ms. Cécile Michoux, Senior Engineer - Climate Change at Cascades CS+ as Vice-President. In addition, three new members joined the Board: Fariel Benameur of Rio Tinto Fer et Titane, Pierre Tremblay of Terrapure Environnement and Gilles Venne of Groupe Gagnon. The CTTÉI would like to take this opportunity to highlight the commitment and contribution of Ms. Dominique Beaudry, Corporate Director of Innovation at Agnico Eagle, who left the presidency after 10 years of involvement.
