The CTTÉI is a leader in the circular economy, in the recovery of industrial waste and in the development of clean processes. It is experiencing a period of strong growth and is looking to hire three project managers and researchers.

Your mission
You will carry out a variety of tasks aimed at recovering all types of industrial waste:
- Identify innovative and profitable ways of recovering various types of waste
- Work on the setting up of projects and their implementation
- Plan and supervise laboratory tests carried out by technicians as required
- Compile and interpret results, make recommendations
- Write technical reports and present results to clients
- Communicate the results of the work at national or international conferences or through publications
- Work in collaboration with other researchers and enhance your network and expertise
- Participate in business development (international travel possible)
Youreducation and previous experience
- Undergraduate university training in engineering, chemistry or other field related to the natural sciences
- Postgraduate education (for the research position)
- 3 to 5 years experience in industry or a research centre (an asset)
Your expertise
In particular, we are looking for people with expertise in one of the following areas
- Recycling of plastics, CRD materials and management of sorting centres
- Development of materials (e.g. concretes, geopolymers)
- Recycling of batteries, electronic waste, strategic minerals
- Mining and Metallurgical Tailings
- Recovery of organic residues

Working conditions
- Full time (35 hours/week)
- Possibility of teleworking up to 3 days/week, upon approval
