On April 17, 2024, the Centre de transfert technologique en écologie industrielle (CTTÉI) had the privilege of receiving the Bernard Lemaire Award - Residual Materials sector.

The Distinction Bernard-Lemaire is awarded to an organization or individual working in the field of residual materials, who has made an outstanding contribution to the improvement and sound management of infrastructures or best practices in this area in Quebec.

Claude Maheux-Picard (center), General Manager of the CTTÉI, received the award from Geneviève Pigeon and Mathieu Lanneville. The presentation took place during the closing evening of the Salon des technologies environnementales du Québec 2024.

"This is a fine way of rewarding the CTTÉI's 25 years of work in favor of industrial ecology and the circular economy," said Ms. Maheux-Picard in her acknowledgements.
